Whatever your reason and whenever your season, we hope you'll consider the Crystal Spring House as the site for the next gathering of your group of 10-16 people. Whether vacationing with "Big Chill" friends or holding a mini-family reunion, activities abound within a 20 mile radius of the house.

Challenge yourself to climb Slide Mountain, the highest peak in the Catskill Range or ski a Black Diamond Trail or Terrain Park at Belleayre Mt. this winter. Mountain bike at Plattekill Mt. spring, summer and fall or snow tube their slopes in winter or River Tube the Esopus in summer. Bike, canoe and kayak rentals are available just 4 miles from the house with a trained guide for rope challenge courses and other "Outdoor Adventures" available for pure enjoyment or team building with your work group or Board of Directors.

If life is challenging enough, just sink into the Double Wide Hammock or the line of rockers on the wrap around porch. Day Spa packages are also available at the 4 Star Emerson Spa and Resort only l0 miles from the house. Or relax gazing at the stars while toasting marshmallows in the streamside bonfire pit or take some mediation time-out in the 16ft round yurt. The lawn is perfect for releasing tensions in tai chi or a rousing game of croquet or ultimate Frisbee. Surrounded by a country setting, the Crystal Spring House is welcoming to everyone. The tranquility of the streams, spring, gardens, and forest that surround the home provide for personal reflection and group sharing and support.

Whether your friends are into wine tasting or scrapbooking, story telling or astrology, plan a weekend getaway with us. A group of mushroom gatherers and another of mediators have returned every year for over five years. Support groups hold retreats to build community and workshop participants explore personal growth and deepening relationship with self; others; nature; and the planet.

Crystal Spring House is available for a weekend, a week, or longer. We want your stay to be a special experience and look forward to discussing the specific needs of your group or organization.
